100 km/h with trailer
Would you like to drive your trailer at 100 km/h on highways and motorways? This is possible under certain conditions with the 100 km/h speed limit sticker in accordance with the 9th exemption regulation to the StVO.
How does that work?
We will check the technical requirements of your trailer for you on site and issue you with a certificate for the registration office. You will then receive a “Tempo 100 sticker” on presentation of the relevant documents.
Which trailers are eligible for the 100 km/h sticker?
Technical requirements
The towing vehicle must not exceed a permissible total weight of 3.5 tons and must have an ABS system. The trailer’s tires must be no more than six years old and must have at least the speed category “L” for a maximum speed of 120 km/h. The trailer must be approved for 100 km/h according to its type approval.
