Investigations according to §§ 41, 42 BOKraft

Passenger transportation vehicles are subject to stricter monitoring by the legislator. The “BOKraft” was issued specifically for the operation of road passenger transport companies.

Its scope of application results from the transportation of passengers with motor vehicles by companies in connection with the paid or commercial transportation of passengers. This means that buses and coaches, cabs and hire cars used for the paid transportation of passengers must also be inspected as part of the annual general inspection in accordance with the BOKraft inspection points.

Special inspection points during the HU are, for example:

  • Regulatory compliance of advertising on cabs and hire cars
  • Affixing the registration number and the business address for cabs
  • Number of fire extinguishers and first aid kits for buses and coaches
  • Automatic doors: end and closing position for buses and coaches
  • Marking of emergency exits and number of emergency hammers on buses and coaches
